Dr. Rus has over a decade of radio experience in both small and medium radio markets. Before moving to the United States, Dr. Rus held positions at several Canadian radio stations including: CKPT in Peterborough, CJBQ in Belleville, and CJSS in Cornwall.

Dr. Rus was born in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. He and his wife, Sandra, have been married since 1984, and reside in Newark, NY with their three sons.

In addition to being News Director for WACK1420AM in Newark, Dr Rus also serves as Senior Pastor at Fresh-Wind Ministries.
